Church window Christmas card

This was a card made in quite a rush for my friend on Christmas Eve.  After having hurt my back, I was way behind myself this Christmas and it took working through the night every night from Thursday through to Christmas Eve to get done.  We finally got to bed around 7am Christmas Day (and didnt appear to open our presents until around 4pm unfortunately - zzzzzz) but I was pleased with how this came out.  I probably would have inked and glittered the flowers if I had more time, but this was finished around 11pm Christmas Eve, so I just didnt have time to let it all dry.

My thanks goes to Kittiekraft for the idea of the church window card - I teamed mine with a brickwork embossing folder rather than wooden panelling or designer paper but her cards using these dies are out of this world.

Items used:

Papermania textured card in various colours, black promarker, double sided sticky sheet, Kars ultra fine glitter.
Poppystamps Grand Gothic Window and Grand Luminary.
Creative Expressions brick embossing folder.
Memory Box Holly Swirl,
Memory Box Fancy Blossoms,
IO Twig Wreath,
3mm pearls.

  9. What a beautiful card, Chris, and that's one (pretty extreme) way of getting out of cooking Christmas Dinner! Hope you did have a good Christmas in the end though and that your back is recovered. Happy Hopping xx
